How to determine the effectiveness of international trade compliance program? These KPIs will be used to influence management and policy makers. If import export activities are outsourced what types of metrics should be captured to support the trade compliance KPI?
I would start with the second question. To answer you will need to formulate your strategic goals for this case. If you need the fastest compliance? Or if there are some quality aspects of the compliance?
If your goal is fastest import/export then you just introduce the time KPI and that’s it, but I believe it is more complicated in your case. We could work on this more if you will provide more details about the nature of your business.
