This indicator is for measuring of ordering process; Would also like to know how I set up KPI for Delivery time frames
KPI Units: 90%
KPI Time Frame: update once a month
This KPI is aligned to the strategic objective of using a reliable and efficient supplier for IT Hardware such as desktops, laptops and handheld devices.
As far as you described the situation, your goal is to measure time efficiency of IT supplier.
Your KPI for this task might be as simple as "Time needed to deliver IT hardware, days".
What is more important is that you need to have a benchmark value. Probably you will need to have a benchmark value for each type of hardware.
For example the delivery frame for desktop might be 3 days and for handheld device a benchmark value is 5 days.
In BSC Designer Online you can setup one category "Delivery efficiency", then add KPIs for each type of hardware "Delivery of Laptop", "Delivery of handheld device" etc. For each specific KPI you can enter target value (your benchmark) and the current value (actual delivery time).
To improve numbers develop an action plan (in BSC Designer Online you can attach it as an initiative to KPI). For example you action plan might be about researching the delivery process on your side and on the side of supplier to find our weak points and improvement opportunities.
