Thank you for your request.
May I please ask, are you looking to measure the performance of your Customs and Trade Compliance Process?
Whilst some of the Customs and Trade Compliance KPIs could be build upon legal requirements, you could also use some of my examples below, that are rather focus on performance and management.
To start with, your KPIs should be aligned with your goals and strategies, as they are in essence metrics to measure the performance of strategy implementation.
Therefore, your first set of KPIs could art with turning objectives in KPIs.
For instance, if you have a cost related objective, create a KPI to measure cost and see how your objective is being met, or not, over time.
In terms of performance and management, you can measure KPIs regarding the effectiveness of the Customs and Trade Compliance process. This is subjective to your type of business, and what you consider effective.
You could measure billing accuracy, such as:
Accurate bills as a % of all bills processed
Total number of accurate bills/total number of bills processed x 100
Orders received on time/ Shipment accuracy %
Total number of orders delivered on time/Total number of orders x 100
Customs Data management accuracy
Accurate date sent to customs as a % of all data
Once again, these are examples of KPIs. You can create more specific KPIs based on your strategies and goals.
I hope this helps. Feel free to post again for further details.
