See below suggestions on how to create your KPIs.

As you mentioned you want to find a solution to technical difficulty on spec product and feed, I suggest you create KPIs to identify the problems and based on those create strategies.

KPIs won’t give you the solution to the technical difficulty. If you implement the solution, through KPIs you can measure progress and success.

This gives you knowledge and control, hence ability to change if things go wrong or keep going if you are on the right path.
