I hope you will find KPIs applicable to your needs.

Another advise that I could give you is to take all defect root causes and create KPIs against it.

For instance, you can choose to measure the KPI of how many defects were caused by team error.

If, for example, you find that 30% are caused by team error you can then put in place some training and performance measurement to ensure you drop the percentage to 15%.

I think you should start with research and classification of current defect root causes. This will give you a key to KPI.
