Hello,
Thank you for your request.
The HR Manager may choose a wide range of KPIs to measure performance.
One great KPI is to actually measure the effectiveness of the HR department as a whole. See KPI example here:
The HR Manager may also want to analyze their individual performance and that can be done in various ways, depending on what exactly is being measured.
The HR manager may choose to measure strategic performance and here is a KPI example for it:
HR Manager Strategic Performance
Number of strategies successfully implemented/ Number of strategies proposed x 100
HR KPIs can either measure individual HR members’ performance, department performance or impact on the organization – employees, which are of course the main purpose of the HR department in the business.
For example, the HR Manager may want to measure
% of Employees above competence
This figure can be extracted from appraisal results or other organizational data, and a high number can simply determine a high performing HR department – or portray the success of an HR strategy recently implemented.
The most important part in choosing the KPI is that is aligned with strategic goals and servers the purpose to inform the organization on how well its performing and how it can move forward.
Thank you for your request. If you need any further details please don't hesitate to leave a comment.
