As a maintenance engineer by using SAP how and what KPIs will be helpful, hilighting my sectional performance and enhance the reliability of equipment and plant comprising of stationary and rotating equipment
The important concepts in plant maintenance are to monitor planned work, schedule variance, actual and actual work executed, plus, of course, lessons learnt.
See below some KPI Ideas:
Schedule Compliance %
(Scheduled Work- Actual Work)/ Scheduled Work x 100
Predictive maintenance %
Total predictive maintenance / Total maintenance x 100
Mean Time between Failure
Total number of training hours per maintenance employee
Total training hours / Total maintenance employees x 100
Reliability Staff % /Ratio
Total Reliability Staff/ Total Staff x 100
Total Reliability Staff: Total Staff
Maintenance Costs as a % of Total Costs
Total Maintenance Costs / Total Costs x 100
