KPI Expert A business like Tesco may choose to look at the online revenue as a % of total revenue (online orders, in the United Kingdom for example).
Over a year, if the total revenue was £42bn, and £10bn came from online revenue the KPI % is:
10bn/42bn x 100 = 24 %
Online revenue is a business opportunity and a market niche that successful businesses are expected to tap into. Measuring the revenue % from online revenue is very useful.
Further discounts or benefits can be given to customers to attract them to buy online.
