This indicator is for measuring the CRM cost per employee. This is calculated by dividing the total cost for all CRM efforts by the total number of employees.

This figure is used as part of the CRM effectiveness analysis, to measure the effort that the company is putting into managing its customer relationships. The result may be compared against competition, previous years etc.

The KPI can also be used with other CRM KPIs such as Average CRM Cost per Consumer, Total CRM Cost, and Customer Response Effectiveness etc.

Formula:

Total CRM cost/ Total Number of Employees

KPI Unit: money

KPI Time Frame: update annually

KPI Expert Example (hypothetical values):

Company A measures the total CRM cost per employee over one year period.

Total CRM Cost: $2000 000

Total number of employees: 2000

Total CRM cost per employee:

2000 000/ 2000 = 1000

Hence, the overall CRM cost is of $1000 per employee.

This is a useful statistical measure, often compared against other costs.
