There are a few different ways to measure this, all giving different results that you could look at. Assuming that there is a minimum and maximum point of a job grade or band, you can determine a mid point. The first measure will look by percentage the % of women under the midpoint of the same grade / band to the % of male staff over the midpoint.

The second measure could look average total remuneration by grade / band, considering base salary, bonus paid, on costs, incentives, and benefits.
