KPI Expert Example:

A hotel has around 100 rooms cancelled a month
On average, 40 of those cancelled rooms are occupied

40/100 x 100 = 40%

In order to increase this rate, the hotel can offer exclusive last minute offers of 50% rates etc. to ensure all rooms are filled.
For hotels that have cancelation fees, that 50% drop in price can be more or less equalized by the cancelation fee.
