Thanks for your post. The integration of KPIs into Balanced Scorecards is an essential tool for strategic management as it ensures organizations see the bigger picture and make informed decisions in building and driving forward their business.

However, each organization should commence the balanced scorecard analysis with defining the vision and mission of the company and creating a strategy map. This map can include organizational strategies and objectives which will then drill down into departmental and individual KPIs.
