There’s many ways to measure staff daily performance. However, I think an effective way would be to measure staff daily performance against the company’s requirements of staff.
You could measures performance against objectives achieved, tasks delivered, and clients attended etc.
For instance, if the financial department was due to send financial reports over one week period to all team leaders in the organisation, the staff daily performance may be measured as:
Total number of reports sent per day/ Total number of employees (in the financial department)
Total number of reports sent per day/ Total number of reports that should be sent per day
Total of reports sent/ Target number of reports to be sent

Various approaches can be taken to measure staff’s daily performance. However, the key to accurate measurement is to have a clear benchmark of the standard performance.
